They appeared back in November, 1957, when Leika, the Russian space dog, was launched into the stratosphere in a small Sputnik satellite.

In the fur behind her ear lived a colony of Tics and, after an untimely scratch and pre-programmed waste excretion, these Tics ended up landing on the moon. The minimal gravity and lack of natural predators here meant the Lunar-Tics have been able to evolve and multiply....

They still however, often wonder if there really was a ‘Dog’ ?
